What is a JetPCL Developer format?
JetPCL comes in many different formats based on the API and the platform for which it was compiled. There are three possible APIs: a child process executable, a dynamic link library (DLL), and a static library for linkage with a specific compiler. There are many possible platforms including: all Windows Win32 platforms, many Linux x86 platforms and a variety of traditional Unix platforms. A JetPCL developer format is a compilation of the JetPCL source code designed for integration into an existing application. The JetPCL User Guide discussess how to use the switch setting common to all formats while the JetPCL Programmer Guide discuses how to integrate JetPCL functionality used in one of the developer formats.
