We are the developers of an enterprise fax server product. We have a need to allow our customers to fax their PCL print files. The processing of the PCL files will be handled on the client side. They need to fax looking exactly like they print.

Use JetPCL Software Developer to convert the PCL files into faxable TIFF, DCX, Group3 or Group4 fax images on the client desktop. Once you have a fax image file, transfer it to the server along with fax destination information from the user. JetPCL output is ready for fax transmission, so fax hardware, such as Brooktrout fax boards, will not need to prepare the image before sending. This will cut down on CPU overhead. Processing the JetPCL conversion on the client side will offload processing overhead from the server to the client. Convert to Standard mode fax resolution, 200 dpi Fine mode fax resolution or 300 dpi High fax resolution.
