We are providers of outsourced business services for enterprises. We have a need to allow our customers to fax their PCL print files. They must be able to easily submit their PCL files and they need them to fax looking exactly like they print.
[SOLUTION]
Use JetPCL Service Provider to convert the PCL files into faxable TIFF, DCX, Group3 or Group4 fax images for faxing. Allow the client to submit print files via a web interface or with a customer written application that moves the PCL file and the fax destination information off of the client desktop quickly. Once you convert the PCL file to a TIFF image file, you can schedule the fax for delivery. JetPCL TIFF Class-F output files are ready for fax transmission, so fax hardware, such as Brooktrout fax boards, will not need to prepare the image before sending. This will cut down on CPU overhead. Convert to Standard mode fax resolution, 200 dpi Fine mode fax resolution or 300 dpi High fax resolution.
