[PROBLEM]
We need to be able to allow the end user to specify routing information that will be used on the server to route the job. For example, the user might specify a fax or email destination, or keywords to be associated with the document in an archive. The user will be running a client module but the routing information will be processed on the server.
[SOLUTION]
Integrate JetPCL Enterprise Server into your system. Inform the user of the JetPCL Embedded information syntax and have them put this into their documents on the first or last page. Then they can print the document through a PCL print driver and have this captured as part of your backend system. Use JetPCL to convert the PCL file into a document image on the server and it will produce both an image file and an embedded text file as output. Your downstream process can then use the embedded user text file to decide on the next processing step for the document. The embedded text does not show up in the document image, and if it is placed on an otherwise blank first or last page, it can be ignored during printing.
JetPCL Enterprise Server is for using JetPCL as part of internal corporate IT applications.
