Maximum Concurrent Processes - JetPCL ExitCode 8
JetPCL will return ExitCode 8 when there are a maximum number of
processes running concurrently. The -wait switch can be used to tell
JetPCL to wait a few minutes for an existing process to finished.
By default the -wait switch will wait 3 minutes. You can set the wait
time using -wait:TimeOut=5; for example. This setting will wait for 5
minutes. We recommend putting this setting in the JetPcl.cfg file.
However, if JetPCL is stopped abnormally it is possible for
the concurrent process counter to become inaccurate. In this case you
need to reset the concurrent process counter using the -wait:Reset
switch. This will reset the concurrent process counter. This switch
should not be used when other processes are active. It may cause any
currently running JetPCL processes to fail.
On UNIX platforms, JetPCL may also return this error code when it is
unable to write to the JetPCL home directory. If this is the case, change the settings on the JetPCL home directory so all users can write to this directory, or use a common -T setting in the JetPcl.cfg file to specify a temp directory for all JetPCL temp files.
