JetPCL Service Provider is high quality HP (Hewlett Packard) PCL (Printer Control Language) emulation software that converts PCL files into image files for service applications, such as Fax services, Document Delivery services, Document Archiving services and Web based service products. JetPCL Service Provider is licensed specifically to companies supplying services to other companies.

JetPCL works with your service application by enabling it to support any client applications that can print to an HP LaserJet printer. JetPCL allows your service product to convert PCL data into electronic document images. With JetPCL, your product can interface with your clients many standard and legacy document applications using their common ability to produce HP LaserJet PCL data. JetPCL Service Provider emulates a PCL printer to produce an image file that looks exactly like what would have been printed on paper. JetPCL can render into a variety of output image formats including PDF (the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format), standard TIFF Class-F, Windows BMP, DCX, PCX and other related formats.

JetPCL Service Provider is commonly used by "business-to-business" service providers to develop high quality fax and email document delivery solutions. They use JetPCL Service Provider to generate an image file from PCL data that is then either faxed, emailed, previewed, provided to clients through a browser based interface, or archived in a document image database along with indexing information.
